Reasonable yellow head over dark-brown beer with orange highlights. Chocolate nose, pleasing jumble of fusels, portwine casks. Again chocolate in the taste, rich ethanol & fusel flavours. Rich taste, and the retronasal hops don’t spoil a thing. Alcoholwarming, velvety texture but potent MF. Good body. Nice beer, rich, way better than average.
